The liquor is great, the location is convenient, and the service is courteous!
I had been searching for somewhere downtown where I could enjoy cigars with colleagues while visiting San Antonio. Devils River will be my new go-to place for that when in town for conferences and events. We tried it out and not only do they have patio space for enjoying cigars (they offer some for sale on-site), they also make a darn good bourbon that pairs well with lighter wrapper cigars and broadleafs. Finally, it’s worth mentioning that the two servers we’ve had there so far, Olive and Adrian, were both professional, welcoming, and efficient at their jobs! Will be returning for sure.

This venue was an absolute dream for my Christmas wedding. When planning we wanted something that was beautiful, central, and not a farmhouse or barn. Not only was this place the perfect venue for my now husband and I, but the employees were amazing. They made sure we had all of the details going into our wedding day and we’re flexible with some of the “quirky” things we wanted to do at our wedding. Alyssa and Garrett made the day incredibly easy and I can’t wait to recommend the venue to others. I can also see myself pushing my company to book it for our holiday party next year…. If you’re looking for a smaller venue that is intimate and elegant and in reality doesn’t need that much so extra decor (not with it boasting great decor and a beautiful chandelier), this is 100% the place for you.

We had a wonderful experience at Devils River! The venue is beautiful, we instantly fell in love as soon as we stepped inside. The chandeliers were a beautiful touch for our first dance. The venue setup flowed and our guests loved the outdoor patio as well. All of the staff made sure our wedding night was memorable and stress free! Communication was easy, Alyssa and Garret were checking in with us throughout the day/night. Garret was onsite throughout the night and he took care of everyone! He definitely was a rockstar. If I could give more stars, I would. We look forward going to Devils River on all of our anniversaries.
