Pomegranate Whiskey Sour


  • 2 oz. Devils River Rye Whiskey
  • 2 oz. pomegranate juice
  • ¾ oz. lemon juice
  • ½ oz. simple syrup
  • ½ oz. egg white
  • 4-5 dashes of orange bitters
  • Pomegranate arils and/or orange slices, for garnish


  • In a shaker filled with ice, add the whiskey, juices, and simple syrup and shake.
  • Add the egg white to the shaker, and vigorously shake again.
  • Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice, using a spoon to add the foam from the shaker if need be.
  • Add the dashes of bitters and garnish, if desired.
